Editing Styles
Growing up, I always saw myself as a creative person. A writer first, then editor. As I’ve gotten older and experienced other facets of creativity, I have decided that I am, in fact, a content creator. I love creativity in almost all realms such as stories, visual essays, interactive fictions, videos, etc.
This portfolio showcases my abilities as an editor, writer, and web content creator. I have always been a storyteller and with my creatives, I hoped to tell a story with them. These creatives are open to interpretation for anyone as well.
My goals are to create engaging pieces that start conversations. Because I am an advocate of mental health, my writing showcases that. I also enjoy being creative so with a few of my creatives, I wanted to give unique perspectives in the interactive fiction pieces. One is of the player as a witch during the witch trials but having to figure out how to escape. My media garden was inspired by Edgar Allan Poe, and deals with heartbreak and loss. I created trailers for my novels as well. These trailers help accentuate the feel and mood of the novels. Through this experience, I can create videos that create a story for a company or product that can help sell.
With this experience, I can use this to tell stories of individuals, brands, companies, etc. to build relationships and awareness of these topics. I aim to use my proven writing, editing, and communications skills to effectively get the job done in a timely and creative manner.

Each project requires different levels of service and approximately requires anywhere from 10-20 hours of editorial work for an average word novel (80,000). If you have a manuscript that you would like a quote, please send me a ten page sample (somewhere in the middle of the book), the word count, and page length. This will help me give a more accurate quote based on how much time it will take since I charge an hourly rate.
